Whilst we love spending time with your children/young people on a Sunday morning either in the creche, Energize, or youth, we only get to spend a really short time with them each week. When it comes to bringing up our children as disciples of Jesus the biggest influences will be what goes on at home and in school.
Part of what we want to do as a children and youth team is to support you as parents in whatever way we can.
As a part of that we’re going to eat together and then whilst your children are catered for in the Centre we’ll head over to the church for an opportunity to talk together about how we can better do that as a church family.
Thirst is a youth service led by WCCYM attended by young people in Years 7-13 from a range of churches in the Comberton and Cambourne Village College catchments.
Young people meet at 6pm for a meal – provided by one of the WCCYM churches, and then the service starts about 7pm. Some of the young people will take part in the service, being involved in the band, hosting or even providing the main talk.
Thirst is hosted here at CBC.
