There is lots going on here at Comberton Baptist Church as we seek to support people at all stages of life. We recognise the impact loneliness can have on people and so a warm welcome will always greet you, whether it’s your first visit on not.

Regular weekly activities
- Tuesday at 1.30pm – Fabric & Yarns for those who are interested in crafts such as quilting, knitting, sewing…
- Wednesday 2pm – Bumps and Babes meets in term time and is an adult and baby/toddler group.
- Thursday 4pm – EDGE Community Youth Club meets during term time and is for young people in Years 7-13.
- Oasis meets in the Village Hall on the 4th Thursday of the month (except August and December). A chance to catch up with friends and enjoy a short service.

Comberton Sport and Art

Join us for our annual West of Cambridge Churches Joint Service. Churches across this part of Cambridgeshire will be closing their individual doors and joining together in the large hall at Comberton Village College/Comberton Sport and Arts. We come together to worship God and celebrate our unity and diversity.
This year our speaker is Clare Miles who will be sharing about her work with young refugees and asylum seekers, using her gifts of creativity and art. How do we respond to God’s command to welcome the stranger? Children’s work will be provided by GenR8 for children in reception to Year 6. To sign up for this please use this link. |

A parent/carer/grandparent and baby/toddler group for anyone who has a little one, not yet at school, and is looking for a warm welcome, a cup of tea and a slice of cake. With space for your little one to play and for you to meet others and maybe even sit down for a few minutes. There is no charge for this event.

Join us for this event aimed at those who have retired. An afternoon of friendship and refreshment. We start with a table quiz – which you can take on on our own or with those around you. There will be plenty of tea and cake. And we have an interesting talk usually taken by one of the ministers/vicars/curates from our local churches. This event is put together jointly by the churches in the village working together.

Youth work training put on by WCCYM. The next session of Youthscape Essentials training will be next Monday, 2nd December, at Comberton Baptist Church. Join us and the Grumpy Owl as we explore the story of the first Christmas. This Holiday Club style event will run from 10am – 2pm. It is a FREE event aimed at children who are currently in Reception to Year 6.
Younger siblings are welcome to attend but they must be accompanied by an adult – you will need to provide these details when they sign up. Join us for fun, games, craft, and the telling of the first Christmas story. This event will also include a packed lunch – please select your choices when you register and please ensure you tell us of any allergies so that we can cater specifically for your child’s needs if necessary.. Although this event is free it is essential to register in advance. It is now too late to register for this event via this page – but if you do want to enquire about availability then please get in touch. |
