There is lots going on here at Comberton Baptist Church as we seek to support people at all stages of life. We recognise the impact loneliness can have on people and so a warm welcome will always greet you, whether it’s your first visit on not.

Regular weekly activities

Tuesday at 1.30pm – Fabric & Yarns for those who are interested in crafts such as quilting, knitting, sewing…
Wednesday 2pm – Bumps and Babes meets in term time and is an adult and baby/toddler group.
Thursday 4pm – EDGE Community Youth Club meets during term time and is for young people in Years 7-13.
Oasis meets in the Village Hall on the 4th Thursday of the month (except August and December). A chance to catch up with friends and enjoy a short service.

Each term we will have a different theme for our Bible teaching – details of the current theme will be available. The theme for the date you have clicked on will be available nearer the time. This Sunday we’re preparing for Holiday Club with an all service where our children and young people will join with the adults as we look at the story of how the Israelites ended up slaves in Egypt – ready for the story of God’s deliverance and rescue through Moses. It would be great to see you on Sunday. Thu28August2025 10:00am–3:30pm Oasis Holiday Club 10:00am–3:30pm Oasis Holiday Club Comberton Baptist Church Green End, Comberton, CB23 7DY Oasis Holiday Club is a one day event aimed at the retired members of our community and is an August version of the Oasis Teas which we run each month during the year. This event is open to everyone whether or not you have attended an Oasis event before. Oasis Holiday Club is hosted at Comberton Baptist Church. You will receive a warm welcome and a cup of tea. Throughout the day there will be different activities to take part in depending on your preference. Activities range from simple woodwork, to arts and crafts, board games, watching a short film, or simply reading the papers and doing a crossword. There are also a couple of short talks – one from a local author and songwriter on creative writing, and the other on a theme from the Bible. A hot lunch and simple afternoon tea are also provided.
